| Sunday 2nd July 2006 | Red Barrows at Cowley Road Carnival | Formation flying with wheelbarrows painted red through the crowds at Cowley Road Carnival. One was full of free veg, another had a home made solar cooker, &c. Done without asking the organisers, so the official report after the Carnival credited them with being fun, but questioned them on health and safety grounds. Not sure if it was an original idea, the following year reports of the Kingston Bagpuize Red Barrows appeared in the Oxford mail |
